Consumer Underwriting Manager

Consumer Underwriting Manager- Located in Hollidaysburg, PA 

Responsibilities include:Managing a regional Consumer Underwriting Department, including monitoring the consumer loan portfolio (may monitor the mortgage/correspondent lending portfolio).  Follows trends in the market, may build relationships with loan correspondents to effectively solicit and purchase loans, and maintains an accurate awareness of credit quality.  Communicates with management with timely and accurate reports, provides  product feedback and strategies, provides guidance and supervision to the department loan officer(s) and staff, and approves consumer loan applications in accordance with all regulatory and compliance lending structure and policy.  Requirements:Bachelor?s degree in a related field is required; Specialized Bank Consumer Lending education and training is preferred.  A minimum of three (3) years experience in loan correspondent lending or closely associated field needed.  Prior supervisory experience, and the ability to develop and comply with established budgets and operate within budgetary constraints are required.
