Control Accounting Unit Manager

PFPC is currently looking for a Control Accounting Unit Manager in our reconciliation department. The ideal candidate must have 4-5 years Mutual Fund Control experience and at least 1 year management supervisory experience.  The candidate must possess extensive industry knowledge, with proven track record of success in previous positions. Strong analytical and communication skills are required, as well as ability to handle multiple tasks. 

 

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the management activities of a high volume, fast-paced Control/Reconciliation Department.  Manage and provide leadership to staff.  Plan, allocate and monitor workflow to ensure critical accountability is met. Provide feedback to staff members and address performance/disciplinary issues when necessary. Review daily DDA reconciliation, follow up on exception items.  Emphasis must be placed on reducing any aged exception items. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting client expectations and improving client satisfaction.  Investigate, recommend and implement process improvements, including systems enhancements.

 

Additional Preferred Skills:

Understanding and knowledge of Control applications and banking interfaces is a plus.
