Credit Executive I / Commercial Deposit & Treasury Management

The Commercial Deposit and Treasury Management group lends in the following areas: homeowners associations; title company interest rate buy-downs and syndications; property management; and loans and lines of credit to financial institutions including ACH and Fed Funds lines."

 

Responsibilities include: Primary credit analysis and preparation of financial statement spreadsheets. Assist in underwriting, structuring and completing approval requests. Initiation and completion of all required loan documents and agreements. Maintenance of ongoing credit monitoring to ensure highest credit quality of assigned portfolio. Recognize/communicate potential credit quality issues within the Bank. Document, maintain and monitor collateral for secured facilities. Liaison with Credit Administration, the Note Center, the Documentation Center, and Legal as required. May have primary responsibility for some accounts, in addition to supporting senior CEs on other accounts. Work with Relationship Managers and senior CEs, as assigned, to deliver both credit products and non-credit services to clients and prospects. As required, call on existing clients to obtain information that supports borrowers' risk profiles and obtain information necessary for effective credit monitoring. While the assigned Relationship Managers will be the primary point of contact with the customer, the CE-I will work directly with customers on credit issues as assigned and requested by Relationship Managers or senior Credit Executives. supporting/assisting senior CEs in maintaining credit quality of the existing portfolio and additions to the portfolio to minimize loss potential. Respond to credit requests in a timely manner to assist Relationship Managers in their mission to cross-sell additional products and services to clients. Actively ensure compliance with Union Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training. Follow account opening procedures and understand and follow internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as required for this position.

Requirements include: Completion of a reputable commercial bank credit training program, plus 2+ years of commercial lending experience. B.A., B.S. or equivalent work experience. Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Teamwork skills. Proficiency in relevant PC skills including; Word, MFA, Excel, Email, and Internet access. Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
