Credit Risk VP/Basel II Reporting

Our client, a prestigious International Bank with offices in New York City, will be hiring a Vice President, Project Manager to assume stewardship for credit risk management of their loan portfolio. The ideal candidate will have solid corporate credit management experience at a major commercial bank, experience developing, implementing and reporting on Basel II policy issues, as well as excellent credit analysis skills. The bank is offering a starting salary up to $125K plus a bonus.

 

Major Responsibilities:

?  Manage the credit portfolio team ? including supervising adherence to Basel II regulations, performing economic calculations, reporting to management, and supervising portfolio risk analysis

?  Work closely with other members of the Credit Risk Management group to optimize portfolio performance

?  Monitor and report on financial and non-financial indicators as pertains to credit portfolio performance ? providing on-going reports to portfolio risk managers

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

?  Solid experience at a major Commercial Bank a must

?   Experience in credit risk  corporate portfolio management

?  Experience in Basel II regulations/reporting  a must

?  Experience analyzing large corporations, with excellent grasp of financial and economic risk indicators

?  Strong project management and supervisory skills

?  Excellent credit skills ? formal bank credit training a plus

?  Excellent oral and written communication skills

?  BA/BS, Business, Finance or Accounting ? MBA a plus
