Our Yucaipa Branch is seeking a Customer Service Officer to supervise 6 employees in all facets of Branch Operations.  Responsibilities include: Coordination of subordinate staff to support service and sales objectives. Providing ongoing staff development relative to product knowledge.  Supporting the branch cross selling program.  Interpreting Bank policies to minimize losses, defalcations, and teller differences, control expenses, maintain satisfactory audits.  Approving transactions within designated level of authority. Interviewing, hiring, and training employees.  Planning assigning and directing work.  Preparing performance appraisals.  Rewarding and disciplining employees.  Addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

 

Qualifications:  Bachelor?s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Strong banking operational knowledge required.  Ability to cover in all operational areas.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, employee performance reviews and employee counselings.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees, and the general public.  Must possess demonstrated supervisory skills, excellent communication and customer service skills.
