Data Analyst - Trade Capture and Settlement
A Major Modis Client has an immediate need for a consultant for their Jersey City location. This is not a Technology position. Consultant will be working in the Derivatives Operations department. The is the business group that interfaces with technology.
Will be working on Trade Capture & Settlement, compare, analysing data in 2 data bases, working with Excel.
Requirements: Knowledge of Derivative Products, such as Interest Rate Swaps, Swaptions, Cap/Floors, Credit Derivatives, strong spreadsheet skills
Duties: Run daily reconciliation and investigate trading discrepancies between FO & BO databases as part of a data cleanup initiative. Amend deals in system and track changes. Additionally, assist with day-to-day operational tasks, e.g. booking trades, processing payments and settlements, calculating and resetting payment details, communicating and confirming of settlement details with clients, investigating and resolving cash breaks with clients, and assisting clients with payment inquires.
