Strong Data Architect Needed for

Leading Financial Services Company

 

 

Our client seeks an extremely analytical Data Architect with a stable work history, proven experience in Data Mining, Data Modeling, Process Modeling, and Data Tables, and strong CASE tool experience.  Knowledge of programming languages, specifically query languages, is preferred.  Must possess exceptional communication skills and conduct high-level presentations.  The job description follows:

 
Perform complex data and data impact analyses and administer small to medium data architectures and data or class repositories in a single business domain.
Serve as a data subject-matter expert and recommend data and object architecture directions to project team members and less experienced data analysts. 
Ensure the reuse of existing data.
Troubleshoot and resolve table and/or component interfacing issues.
Analyze business requirements and gather data requirements to build complex conceptual and logical data models that include n-ary relationships abstractions, and generalizations. 
Apply group facilitation and other advanced interviewing techniques to gather data requirements and perform complex impact analysis.
Understand the company?s business, industry, and assigned products, and products? data architectures.
Perform and facilitate data warehouse analysis and perform dimensional data warehouse design and modeling.
Restructure data for conversions to a database management system. 
Perform reverse engineering to analyze data of existing applications.
Research, recommend, and promote data modeling standards (e.g., modeling conventions, naming standards, domain definition, etc.).
Analyze and design metadata.
Act in a leadership capacity, perform technical reviews, give guidance on work performed by others, and act as project leaders for internal projects.

 

Our client will pay to relocate the right person.  Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience.  Client provides an exceptional benefits plan.  If interested, please apply online.
