Direct Banking Sales & Service Program Specialist

Initiates and champions new sales projects and programs within the call centers. Develops and manages the sales and service programs within Direct Banking to ensure that we are delivering the highest quality service and utilizing the most effective sales techniques with our customers. Develops and implements all sales and service motivation campaigns within the department. Ensures that management and their teams have the training and resources needed to meet and exceed Direct Banking sales and service goals. Responsible for the effective launch, monitoring and effectiveness of all sales and service initiatives and motivational programs within Direct Banking. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.
Also responsible for benchmarking other companies' management of their sales and service programs.

Requirements:

4-year degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 2-5 years directly related sales experience/call center experience. Ability to think creatively and build and drive recognition programs in a call center environment. Excellent communication skills, including strong writing and presentation ability. Ability to work effectively with all levels. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Strong organizational skills. Computer literacy and proficiency in common PC applications is required. Substantial travel among the three call centers is required.
**Position can be located in either Springfield, MA or Lewiston, Maine site.
