Director of Marketing

 

Lacamas Community Credit Union is located in beautiful southwest Washington along the Columbia River, minutes from the Portland, OR airport and within easy driving distance of mountains and beaches.  We are a community-based credit union seeking a Director of Marketing to lead, brand, and develop business in a rapid growth community.

 

The ideal candidate will have a B.A. degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Marketing experience in a financial institution is required; experience with branding, television ad development, and Raddon MCIF is desired.  As a member of the senior management team, this position represents the department at board meetings and participates in strategic planning sessions in addition to managing the day to day responsibilities of the department.  This position requires effective leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to balance hands-on needs with strategy development.

 

Duties Include:

? Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans, programs, and budgets, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of credit union.

 

? Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity.

 

? Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.

 

? Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Credit Union?s web site, including content and promotional material.

 

? Determines agencies and suppliers of record, and negotiates contract terms and conditions for major services.

 

? Coordinates activities of the Marketing Committee to ensure team involvement

 

? Coordinate and/or oversee community events to ensure they meet our goals, budget, image, and policies.

 

? Establishes and maintains relationships with select employer groups, industry influencers, and key community and strategic partners.
