ERM (Enterprise Risk Management ) Analyst

This position will be responsible for supporting the ERM Coordinator in the implementation of City National Corporation’s (“CNC”) Enterprise Risk Management program, as advised by CNC’s Risk Council.  Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, working with the ERM Team and Colleagues throughout CNC to facilitate the implementation and integration of risk management principles at all levels of the organization, assisting the ERM Coordinator and business units in conducting risk assessments (using COSO and related tools), implementing ERM-related policies, procedures and projects, and supporting three ERM working groups (e.g., strategy, controls and business unit implementation) as necessary. Performs other duties as required.


Bachelor’s degree in risk, finance, economics or statistics related discipline with three to five years of enterprise risk management experience in the financial services industry. 
A thorough understanding of internal control and risk management methodologies, banking systems, processes and data management, and risk/crisis management principles required. 
Must possess strong project management skills and be able to work successfully in a client focused, consultative work environment. 
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically.
Proficient in the use of personal computers and various software packages, including Excel, Access, Project Manager and PowerPoint.
