Equity Research Assistant

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Supporting 2 Equity Research Analysts with administrative functionsGenerating and distributing financial reports in MS Excel Using an analytical approach to maintain financial models, track stocks, and update valuation sheets and modelsResearch using the Internet and other sources as needed Use independent judgment in completing tasks, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines Use financial knowledge to analyze financial reports and modelsHandle responsibilities and confidential information with a high level of diplomacy and discretion

 

 

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

 

? Ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Equity Research.

? BA/BS degree

? Strong analytical skills (shown from previous employment or relevant coursework)

? Strong writing skills and experience

? Prior assistant experience

? Professional demeanor with corporate polish and poise required.

? Thorough knowledge of general office procedures: Advanced computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.

? Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

? Strong sense of self motivation with the ability to work independently and in a team/entrepreneurial oriented environment

? Excellent interpersonal and problem solving abilities

? Articulate with excellent oral and written communication skills

? Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
