This position is responsible for performing all aspects of Abandoned Property ( Escheat) Reporting for all States. Recognizes and evaluates areas of improvement and makes recommendations. Maintains department files. Works independently with minimal supervision inside a team environment. Plans and priortizes daily workload to meet department objectives and scheduled deadlines. Effectively communicates with branch staff to obtain needed information for supporting documentation and Customer needs.

 

Principal Responsibility:Maintains a current working knowledge of Unclaimed Property rules and regulations for all States Communicate with all levels of management with respect to system enhancements concerning abandoned property process'. Prepare and analyze monthly reports showing potential escheatable balances for all account types Work closely with the front office and the Training Dept to expedite Customer Service concerns and resolve issues promptly Supervise, train, develop and mentor employees Complete weekly status reports and provide monthly reports to management Organize, manage and carry out the current 8 states of Commerce Bank Abandoned Property Reporting requirements

 

Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. Two to four years prior Escheat Backgroung Posess a solid financial services background, combined with excellent computer skills and is capable of thriving in a team-oriented, fast paced atmoshhere. Ability to organize, plan and execute goals in a professional and efficient manner.
