Perform all aspects of escrow analysis, payment of real estate taxes and tracking of non-impounded property taxes using Bank?s various servicing systems which involve maintaining audit standards for quality control by establishing quality control mechanisms.  Produce various weekly, monthly, quarterly and as-needed reports for distribution throughout the company. This non-exempt position provides back up support to servicing manager and entire servicing department as needed.  Essential job functions include ensuring productivity, efficiency and customer service within the Bank?s loan operations area.  This involves handling customer service and other related loan servicing matters in a timely and effective manner.

 

 

SECTION III - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities

 1.

 

Monitor vendor tax reports and service bureau tax reports to ensure that taxes  are current.  May be moderately stressful during tax seasons.

 

 2.

 

Pay property taxes on loans with escrow accounts. 

 

 3.

 

Set up/cancel escrow accounts upon request for property taxes.

 

 4.

 

Perform annual escrow analysis on all escrowed loans. Also perform analyses when applicable throughout the year.

 

 5.

 

Track all (non-impound) Real Estate Loans  to insure taxes are paid in a timely fashion. Responsible for notifying clients of past due taxes and follow up to insure payments are made.

 6.

Monitor delinquent taxes and advised Loan officers if necessary.

 7.

Respond to requests and inquiries from borrowers, credit administration, loan teams and branches regarding property taxes and impound accounts. Requires research Stress level varies depending on the urgency of the request (medium to high stress).

Education, Experience and/or Technical Skills:

 

High school graduate, college preferred.  3-5 years experience in all areas of escrow administration. Computer skills required ? Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, outlook).  Excellent Customer Service skills as well as a thorough command of oral and written skills for communication a must.  Candidate must be adaptable to change, and self-motivated in addition to possessing strong analytical skills.
