Event Planning Administrative Assistant

DESCRIPTIONEvent Planning Administrative Assistant needed for Leading Investment Firm!

Matura Farrington is seeking an Event Planner for a leading Investment Firm in the West Los Angels area. You will work one-on-one with a dedicated and professional Director of Event Planning. If you would like the opportunity to prosper in a dynamic environment, please read below.REQUIREMENTSThe Event Planner/Marketing Assistant Key Responsibilities are:

Event coordination and event marketing, event/meeting planning, ticket distribution, on-line event registration, overseeing and implementing marketing efforts, scheduling and confirming appointments and event reservations, calendar maintenance, track all timelines and event deadlines, client contact with event vendors and suppliers, conducting required follow-up, assisting in preparation for appointments as needed or preparing presentations or proposals, must be comfortable attending and working at assigned events, assists Director as needed, screens and routes telephone calls and takes specific messages when appropriate; and other administrative or client service work as needed.

What skills you need:

Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
2-5 years experience
Strong analytical, prioritization, time management and people skills
Self Starter, demonstrated job stability and a strong work ethic
Excellent interpersonal skills
The ability to work quickly and accurately on multiple projects in deadline situations.
Degree in Marketing or related Discipline, is highly preferred.
