Experienced Financial Service Representative/ Personal Banker

Responsibilities Working as a FSR within SunTrust Bank You will:

* Provide superior customer service through listening to customers, anticipating their needs, and recommending financial services. 

* Open new accounts, take loan applications, and refer customers to specialized bankers, such as Business Bankers and Mortgage Originators, to ensure the needs of the customer are met. 

* Educate customers on automated service options available including ATMs, Internet Banking, etc. 

* Support the goals of the branch through effective teamwork.

* Pursue on-going education of SunTrust products, services, and other lines of business.

* May train new employees, lead sales campaigns within the branch, and act as a resource for systems or report expertise. 

* Achieve expansion and retention goals for key branch relationships and house accounts.  Demonstrate superior proactive sales skills; limited outside business development calls.

 

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience selling financial services in a branch environment with detailed product, system, and process knowledge.  Advanced knowledge and ability in servicing & selling personal and business banking products and services.

High school diploma or equivalent. 2 years of college preferred.

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
