Sr. Business Analyst:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Planning and coordinating Trading Services Support Division?s

technical initiatives and enhancements

? Developing business requirements and working with technical and

business managers on allocating appropriate resources to implement process or reporting changes

? Analyzing business needs, developing technical solutions,

documenting the details of the business requirement, coordinating resources, developing test plans and implementation

? Primary work would be with back office managers but would also

communicate with trading front-office, technology, accounting, and risk management staff throughout the project lifecycle.

? Products supported include: FX, Currency Options, Interest Rate

and Currency Futures, Interest Rate Derivatives, and Equity Derivatives

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree required. Knowledge of accounting, risk management confirmation, and payment processing along with SWIFT message formats preferred. An understanding of foreign exchange and interest rate

products is desirable. Must be responsible, well organized, proficient

in Excel and PowerPoint, and have good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with the following systems is a plus:  IMMS, WSS, Summit, Murex, and Sentry.

 

 

Bank Operations Dept manager- FX Trade Processing

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Manage the Foreign Exchange Operations Group

? Processing and Settlement of FX Transactions originating from

Trading Group

? Interacting with Traders, Salespeople, clients and internal

personnel on business and operational issues

? Develop supervisors? managerial skills and job knowledge

? Ensure that operational procedures are current and updated to

Divisions Database

? Provide business knowledge to projects within the Division and

other BNY branches

? Conduct user system testing as related to system enhancements and

system fixes

? Develop test scripts to ensure all functions, processes and

interfaces to downstream systems work effectively

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires extensive experience in foreign exchange operations and

managerial experience. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in

Foreign Exchange trade processing and settlements with a minimum of 3 years FX operations managerial experience. In dept knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Needs excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Prefer knowledge of IMMS.
