Financial Center Managers work to expand and support Washington Mutual's market share consistent with goals and policies. Their focus is on supervising the Assistant Financial Center Manager and all other staff, to ensure that the Financial Center effectively delivers financial products and services to existing and new customers.

Financial Center Managers work in a fast paced environment. Goals are attained in the areas of sales production and leadership capabilities. Community involvement is a key element in meeting the needs of both the community and Washington Mutual. The Financial Center Manager is expected to lead all internal and external sales initiatives including loan production, while ensuring development of the Financial Center staff. Total compensation consists of a base salary component, as well as an incentive component.



Ability to interact with all levels of management, employees, industry peers, and customers.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Proven history of negotiation and influencing skills.

Previous supervisory experience and proven ability to lead and develop a team.

Lending experience that includes origination and processing credit decision making and delinquency collections.

Proven sales techniques and sales management skills.

Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills are essential.

Previous financial industry experience would be beneficial.

Strong management experience is required.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday.
