Top Investment Bank in New York requires a Financial engineer with experience of working within Mortgage Backed Securities and Asset Backed Securities to join a world class group.
The team is currently in the process of re-engineering their entire mortgage trading platform and you will be expected to play a key role in this. You will work closely with the traders to understand pricing & risk strategies relating to them. You will also interface with the technical teams to ensure that they are developing real time systems that meet the requirements of the traders.
Requirements for this position include strong knowledge of MBS/ABS, excellent academic background in a scientific or quantitative subject, strong programming skills in C++ /C#/Java/Excel/VBA. You will have excellent communication skills due to daily interaction with traders.
