Financial Sales Officer Levels I - II Branch Banking - Westlake Village

Identifies opportunities for expanding relationships with existing clients. Builds new relationships that are profitable and support the growth of the branch. Motivates, develops, and coaches direct reports. Responsible for the new account function and its operational integrity associated with the City National Bank (CNB)policies and processes. Possesses knowledge of new accounts procedures (e.g., legal aspects, regulations). Maintains a general understanding of the credit process. Maintains internal CNB relationships to ensure clients receive exemplary levels of service. Assists in developing and implementing new methods to identify and obtain new clients for the branch.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.

Prior strong new accounts and/or banking experience is preferred.

Minimum 2 years of strong Sales experience if no banking experience.

Must be able to generate and expand new/existing business.

20-30% local travel required.

Must be a team player, customer service oriented, organized, and able to follow directions well.

Solid working knowledge of new accounts, packaging loans, personal and business deposit checking, savings and investment accounts preferred.

Must possess knowledge of asset and liability product philosophy, policy, documentation and systems preferred.

Comprehensive knowledge of all Bank products and services preferred.

Effective cross selling, and referral skills required.

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.

Strong Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills required.
