Fraud Specialist

 

 

The Fraud Investigations Unit is seeking a fraud specialist to conduct enhanced due diligence on the Banks customers to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA Patriot Act requirements. 

 

 

Job Description

 

Duties and responsibilities will involve analyzing and evaluating suspicious activity reports.  Monitoring customer accounts for suspicious activity. Obtain required documentation in accordance to section 326 of the Patriot Act.  Review new deposits applications to successfully verify customer identity. Gather information from outside resources such as internet searches, third party vendors and public records.  Responsible for reporting suspicious account activity to the BSA Officer in a timely manner.

 

 

Preferred Skills:

 

2 ? 5 years of banking experience in fraud and loss prevention

 

Understanding of BSA/AML/OFAC and USA Patriot Act requirements

 

Understanding of credit reports

 

Strong organizational and analytical skills

 

Strong PC skills required (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
