Front End C#.NET Developer - Prime Services/Equity Finance IT

C#, .NET, C#.Net, ElelctronicTrading, Investment Banking, Hedge Fund, OO, Multithreading, Prime Services, Equities, Structured products Global Investment Bank has an outstanding opportunity for a high calibre Front end C#.NET developer to work within a high profile Prime Services/Equity Finance IT team. With daily interfacing with traders, you will mainly be responsible for building a new Front End to the system in C#.Net to improve the user experience for the traders & aid their decision making process. You will initially be involved in managing small projects and working on minor enhancements to the system & following on from that, you will be heavily involved in upgrading the entire infrastructure, process re-engineering, applications upgrades & Front Office support. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will be heavily involved in with traders on a daily basis. You must have a degree in Computer Science and a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals as well as 2yrs programming experience in C# . You should have a strong understanding of RDBMS (SQL Server/Sybase). Any knowledge of securities lending or equity finance products (Swaps or Prime Brokerage services) would be a plus. You must have a strong desire to learn about the business and to work with leading edge technologies.
