Fund/Portfolio Administration Manager

2nd Largest bank in the World! This bank is looking for a Fund/Portfolio Manager. Ideally, this person will have experience in hedge or mutual funds as well as offshore experience. Fast paced goal oriented environment right in the heart of the financial district, this division is growing and continuing to add new funds to their portfolio.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to communicate information and resolve issues in a timely manner.

2. Review portfolio valuations and financial statements for accuracy and completeness as prepared by junior/senior accountants.

3. Assist in the launching of new funds

4. Establishing excellent client relationships and providing high quality service and productivity.

5. Assist external auditors to ensure the audit functions is executed in a timely and efficient basis

 

Requirements:

1. Bachelors Degree required, preferably in Accounting or related field.

2. CPA preferred

3. 5 years of relevant experience in fund/portfolio administration

4. Hedge or mutual fund experience as well as offshore experience a must

5. Basic knowledge of investment related software such as Bloomberg, NATAS, Koger, and Advent Axys.
