Susquehanna has an excellent opportunity at one of our York branches for a head teller.  Qualified candidates will possess 2-5+ years of head teller/supervisory experience in a banking or retail sales environment.  PC skills required.

 

Primary Job Functions may include but are not limited to the following:

 

A. Proactively providing extraordinary customer service to all customers, building customer relationships by exercising effective customer service skills, utilizing sales skills, and transacting all business in a precise and timely fashion.

B. Referring potential sales opportunities.

C. Working together with supervisors and co-workers to strive to meet sales and service goals and maintain a work environment beneficial to all employees.

D. Responsible for the daily supervision of the branch line staff (lobby and drive-in) of the office.

E.  Responsible for mentoring and developing all new tellers assigned to the office.

F.  Responsible for the leading and coaching of the Customer Service Representative staff by being a role model, and through the use of positive reinforcement techniques.

G. As the primary contact with the branch line staff, responsible for inspiring and encouraging all staff members in meeting and achieving the customer service goals.

H. Providing efficient and accurate processing of customers? financial transactions.

I.  Conducting team meetings and sales meetings.

J. May be responsible for handling excess cash for the office with Vault responsibilities.
