Head of Retail Banking

Job Description: GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for developing overall performance objectives, products, and procedures for all of the retail banking activity within an affiliate, while maintaining guidelines set by the Bancorp. Ensures that all products developed are marketable, competitive, and profitable.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Establish goals and strategies and assess performance against the goals that have been set.


Develop customer service guidelines that follow Bancorp policies.


Provide guidance to branch administration and management.


Create reports for the Affiliate President to show the development, profitability, and areas of improvement for the retail division.


Contribute to the development and implementation of new product concepts.


Champions employee development-establish succession planning.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct reports include Branch Administration, Branch Management, and Retail Banking. Responsible for providing employees timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
