Healthcare Investment Banking Analyst

Description: SIG is building out an entire Investment Banking practice and are aggressively looking for Investment Banking Analysts to work in the Healthcare space. The Healthcare Investment Banking Analysts play a critical role in our transaction teams, running analyses of valuations and helping to execute complex transactions across the Healthcare arena. High levels of analytical skills, along with an ability to work well in a team environment, will ensure a comprehensive expertise in all the basic skills of healthcare investment banking.

A successful Analyst will contribute and generate ideas during the entire transaction process. The Analysts will work as an integral part of a team and will support Associates and Senior Bankers with the origination, analysis and execution of equity offerings, valuations, private placements, mergers and acquisitions advisories, leveraged buyouts and other investment banking activities. The Analyst will research, analyze, present and document drafting elements of a developing transaction. They will help prepare pitch books and other marketing materials, and accompany senior team members on client visits. Pursuant to the demands of the industry, Analyst candidates should expect and be open to the long hours and will be required to travel when needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree: Accounting or Finance coursework preferred.

Strong background in the Sciences, Accounting and/or Finance.

Excellent communication and written skills.

Excellent research and organization skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).

Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
