We seek an Implementation Application Consultant - Deposit to work at our Glastonbury, CT headquarters. The successful applicant for this role will manage the transition of client?s deposit functions from old processing system to OSI identify, analyze and consult on all aspects of job function assist clients with training and workflow assessments to ensure all aspects of job functions are easily transitioned. Provide recommendations as neededassess each client?s deposit portfolio to assist the client in creating detailed products in the OSI system assuring same or similar functionality of client?s prior system support various deposit processes including but not limited to retirement accounts, payroll and service chargingassist clients to define proper institution parameter and system settings, including security authorizations, statement processing, etcresponsible for pre-conversion remote and on-site client assistance to ensure data integrity, which may include third party interfaces, i.e., payroll, ATM, Web, VRU, etcdirect responsibility for planning, analysis, troubleshooting and re-enforcing client trainingdiagnose and recommend solutions to issuesassist clients in writing business specs for custom processesassist clients in testing any applicable custom code.

To qualify for this position, you must have:an associates degree in business administration or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experiencetwo to four years of experience working in an operations center at a bank or credit union with expertise in either Loan (commercial, consumer and mortgage) or deposit processing, including both front and back office environmentsconversion experienceability to multitaskstrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsability to work independently and within a team environmentstrong analytical skillsbasic knowledge of Windows 2003 or XP workstation, MS Word, Access and Excelsolid understanding of financial industry business functions so you can assist clients in determining short- and long-term accounting and banking strategiesa willingness to travel a minimum of 50% or morea willingness to relocate to within commuting distance of Glastonbury, CT.
