Ineternational Retail Settlements Specialists
Our client, a major bank with offices in New York City, seeks an International Retail Settlement Specialist to join their Trade Processing Department. The primary function of this position will be to support private client operations with the timely processing and monitoring of local market and high risk global settlements. The bank is offering a starting salary of up to 65K + bonus.
Major Responsibilities:
? Perform instruction processing and monitoring of local markets settlements for international settlements with elevated risk.
? Interface with bank branches, equity prime brokerage, middle office, trading area and international external clearing agents to process and settle international trades.
? Process trades booked by trading areas world wide.
? Manage customer transfer requests and ADR to ORD conversions
? Ensure timely settlement of F/X and securities trades in foreign markets by using systems such as DOGS and MERVA
? Prevent loss by accurate trade processing
? Follow up with proper internal and external departments on trade fails
? Participate in new process reviews and new system implementation testing
Job Requirements:
? 2 + years of International Trade Settlements experience at a commercial/retail bank or financial institutions.
? MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel) proficient ? Dogs, Swift / Merva a plus
? strong multitasking and problem solving skills
? ability to work in a high volume / fast paced environment
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Bachelor?s degree required
