Internal Audit Manager

Parkway Bank, a $1.8 billion community bank with 21 locations throughout Chicagoland, seeks an Internal Audit Manager with bank experience to direct a comprehensive audit program.

 

Working with executive management and the Board of Directors, the Internal Audit Manager will plan, direct and maintain an audit program covering all departments and subsidiaries of the Corporation including examination of the assets and liabilities, income and expense, and related compliance testing.  The Auditor will review the efficiency and effectiveness of internal accounting controls, operations and administrative functions and will coordinate the regulatory examination and external audit process.

 

We seek an individual with a bachelor?s degree in finance or accounting (CPA preferred), 5 years bank audit experience, knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulatory requirements, strong analytical skills, strong organizational skills, advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to write reports/make presentations on complex topics to top management, regulators, and Board of Directors, demonstrated leadership, project management, team building and time management skills, ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents, ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints, ability to maintain effective professional relationships with external auditors, regulatory agency personnel, and others, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
