International Product / Project Manager

Job Description: Alliance Management Services (AMS) is a specialized, relationship-driven business unit within Global Transaction processing (GTS) providing USD and multi-currency cash management and payment solutions to targeted correspondent banks and commercial customers worldwide. GTS, as part of the International Division, through two offices, New York, and San Francisco, GTS generates both fee and balance based revenue through various referral, third-party sales, global payments, cooperation agreements and banking clubs tailored to meet the needs of our customers. GTS team members work along side Global Correspondent Banking relationship managers to grow and retain valuable customers and expand and strengthen key product offerings throughout the suite of correspondent banking and treasury products. Understanding who our customers are, how they make decisions and the markets that they are in will be critical in identifying new business opportunities and meet emerging needs in new and existing markets, ultimately driving revenue growth and profitability.
? Candidate will be responsible for creating and leading effective internal partnerships with Product Management, Operations, IT, Legal and other groups that support GTS.
? Candidate will be main driver of strategic alliances and the main resource for structure and implementation of cooperation agreements.
? Candidate will be responsible for creation of foreign financial institution database of market coverage and capabilities as well as cross promotion of those capabilities to relationship managers.
? Candidate will work with International compliance to stream-line and enhance current documenation processes.
? Liaison with product management to prioritize product enhancements, as well as be advocate for relationship managers and customer requests.
? Candidate will develop and maintain library of various product information from partner correspondent banks so as to have record of their strengths in market. Work closely with International Treasury Management and relationship managers to facilitate the flow of outbound business to appropriate partner banks.
? Ideal candidate will have proven creativity in providing innovative solutions to special or complex customer requirements.
? Develop and maintain direct relationships with strategic customers. Partner with sale and relationship management teams to expand existing customer relationships.
? Key to the role will include working closely with relationship management to help GCB achieve its overall goal of double-digit revenue growth.


Minimum Qualifications: ? Candidate must have 5-7 years of experience in either cash management product management or sales including significant project management experience.
? Candidate should have knowledge of how Foreign Financial Instiutions operate as well as industry contacts.
? Flexible, self-motivated individual with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
? Experience in coordinating multiple priorities and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
? Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to diverse business audiences.
? Analytical skills, able to 'think outside the box' and explore other avenues, and move abstract concepts to implementation.
? Experience with documentation negotiation is helpful.
? Knowledge of Legal and or Compliance is a plus.
? Second Language is a plus.
? Will require 25-30% travel, both overseas and domestically.

Position may be located either in NY / Minneapolis or San Francisco.

Salary:
$90,000 to $125,000 dependent on experience
