Job Description

Support the marketing and delivery of investment consulting services, with internal partners as needed, to Client Advisors, Relationship Managers and their teams.  Primary responsibilities:  This position will provide assistance in the execution of the responsibilities of the bank's Investment Consulting, both in supporting the growth of the business, and in client retention.  This individual will also support the following current client activities: Asset allocation - will serve as a liaison between the PCS Analyst group and CA/RM's in providing support on the production of asset allocation studies.  Manager Search and Due Dilligence - will serve as a liaison between the Global Manager Research group and CA/RM's in researching managers and performing manager searches.  Performance Reporting - will assist with performance report setup and help resolve performance-related issues.  Investment Policy - will assist in the development and maintenance of investment policy templates.  Will assist in adapting templates to meet client needs.  Additionally, this individual will provide assistance in ongoing DBIC practice initiatives, including the following: ongoing support of materials to service the practice's targeted markets:  this would include assisting in the development and maintenance of current marketing materials by targeted client type.  Assisting in the development and maintenance of other components of the targeted practice modules, including new client presentations, investment policies and other pertinent material - maintenance of the investment consulting database, pipeline report and assistance in the preparation of RFP's. Make presentations to current and prospective clients.

 

Required Skills and Experience

3 - 5 years of experience working for an institutional investment consulting firm, brokerage firm or investment consulting practice, and will have familiarity with all services delivered by that practice, including development of Investment Policy Statements, asset allocation analysis, manager selection and due diligence and solid base of knowledge of performance reporting and attribution analysis; B.S. degree, an MBA degree would be a plus, strong analytical and writing skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access, MVO modeling and style analysis and attibution software required; CFA or progress toward a CFA is a plus.
