Qualifications:
BS or BA in Business, Economics, Finance or other investment related field, or CFP. Series 7 63 65 or 66 and life insurance license CFP a plus (or working toward or willing to achieve CFP designation). 1 year sales experience in insurance and/or securities markets Exceptional skill set in sales, interpersonal relations, insurance and investments. Exceptional customer service skills, including prompt referral follow up. Capable of developing and implementing a business plan. Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Team player with ability to motivate and lead others. Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as other standard AFI software Knowledge of investment products, their benefits and risks. Knowledge of insurance products, their benefits and risks. Knowledge of financial planning sales approach. Knowledge of compliance related policies and procedures. Record of superior sales achievement. Knowledge of brokerage trading systems Disciplined and organized, with ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines. Ability to follow policies and procedures related to NASD and AISI regulations. Networking skills to develop internal and external COIs. Exceptional professional presence and appearance. Willingness to perform clerical tasks as necessary, including new account and servicing paperwork.
