Item Processing Representative IV

The schedule for this position is as follows:

Mon.-Fri. 7:00am to 4:00pm

Performs complex or non-routine administrative tasks exercising judgment and discretion in the performance of duties usually in support of a single unit or team within Item Processing. Works within standard procedures or modifies procedures for supervisory review and approval. Tasks are performed independently with limited supervision and review. Tasks may include filing, research, processing incoming mail deposits, and customer service and contact. Provides information and procedural knowledge for less experienced staff. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 3-5 years of related banking experience is preferred. Basic computer literacy and proficiency in common PC applications is required. Knowledge of Item Processing policies and procedures or other relevant banking operations experience is required. Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload to meet unit objectives. Good verbal and written communications skills are also required. The ability to provide guidance to others, clarifying complex policies and procedures and facilitating knowledge-sharing in the work group is required. 10-key skills preferred. May be required to push carts and move mail bins short distances. Required to stand for extended time periods. Required to keyboard for extended time periods. Occasional bending and stooping required.
