My client are a leading Investment Bank with a brand new mandate for a bright Mid-level Java Developer to work on the development of analytical tools for the business. Working closely with the Quantitative Analysts and Portfolio Sales teams it is essential that you have first class communication skills as well as a strong mathematical/analytical background. Solid software design skills are a must particularly with Java and J2EE. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of relational databases and Tibco messaging. Your commercial experience will include at least 2 Years experience in a development role within the Financial Services industry. Your educational background will include a minimum of a strong Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematical subject.
