Responsible for supporting a Senior Account Executive in WaMu Capital Corp (WCC).  The incumbent serves as a liaison between the WCC client, sales and internal operations on all aspects of the business relationship. Provides customer service and entry level sales support directly to WCC clients. Incumbents in this position are also responsible for building relationships with potential customers.

 

Essential Job Functions:
1. Communicates daily with WCC clients on matters relating to products, programs and procedures.
2. Confirms all trades with client and trading desk.
3. Supports the Account Executive in account development and managing the performance of existing accounts and monitors customer quality.
4. Supports the Account Executive on day to day account relationship issues, marketing support, follow up and identification of customer needs.
5. Follows up on new approval packages process from delivery to customer to receipt and approval.
6. Suggests and negotiates non-complex trades with clients
7. Travels to meet with clients face-to-face




o A minimum of two years experience working in a capital markets setting.
o Sales and customer service preferred.
o Series 7 and Series 63 required (may be obtained on the job).
o Knowledge of functionality and operation of software programs including MS Office and Bloomberg.
o General office practices and record keeping techniques.
o Experienced customer service and basic sales principles and practices.
o Communication techniques.
o Basic business and mortgage knowledge.
o Basic principles, practices and regulations applicable to the mortgage industry.
o Proprietary software systems sufficient to maintain/generate appropriate documentation and track trades.
o Ability to use automated systems and operates office equipment at an acceptable level of proficiency.
o Resolves customer related complaints.
o Keep abreast of changes in policies, standards and regulations applicable to work unit. 
o Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibilities.
o Convey information effectively in oral and written communications.
o Complete assigned work to meet deadlines in a high production environment.
