Key Center Manager

 

 

 

 

Essential Job Functions

 

**Ensures that the KeyCenter financial goals are met/ exceeded.
-Maintains active calling plan for Book of Business clients and prospects (minimum 5 daily) and business calling plan of outside calls (minimum 5 weekly).
-Develops and effectively manages an internal and external COI base with minimum quarterly contact.
-Ensures that the KeyCenter operations are operating effectively and efficiently and client needs are being met.
-Develops an annual market plan for the KeyCenter to maximize community visibility, production, and people resources. 
-Responsible for ensuring that the KeyCenter is staffed with team oriented, high performers who are fully trained on Key's products, sales, and service models. 

-Personally interviews and selects all KCAM's and RM's with involvement from ARL.

-Uses coaching model on a daily basis to reinforce selling behaviors.
**Responsible for being a visible community leader, developing a strong internal and external COI network with minimum quarterly contact and actively soliciting business through outside calling and direct sales.
-Leads KeyCenters team meetings (i.e., LCAs)
-Develops strong partnerships with District Operations Leader, small business colleagues and other line of business partners. 

-Focuses on cross selling and referrals.
-Supports and communicates company initiatives (BCIP, campaigns, strategy decisions, product and marketing initiatives).

 

Marginal Job Functions

 

-Project team assignments as needed.
-Performs Key Center Assistant Manager operational responsibilities in KeyCenters with NO KCAM.

 

Required Skills

 

-2-4 year degree or relevant experience.
-Strong business manager.
-Comprehensive understanding of financials (balance sheet).
-Demonstrated ability to lead a team to financial success.
**Demonstrated sales success.
-Strong knowledge of banking products.
-Strong coaching skills and general understanding of sales management.
-A general understanding of operations (KSAP, audit, compliance, fraud, loss).
-Business Banking acumen; willingness to complete Business Banking certification within one year of accepting the position.
-Willingness to be BCIP certified, if needed in the KeyCenter.
-Ability to successfully manage a Book of Business with 300-350 clients.

 

Training Provided

 

-Key Employee Development curriculum includes self-study, Computer Based Training (CBT), and classroom courses.  For example: Sales and Service Technology Level 1 and 2, Relationship Management System, Consumer Lending and Key?s Relationship Management School.
-Business Banking Certification
-Bank Channel Investment Program, if needed
-Leadershaping courses

 

Equipment Used

 

-Standard P.C skills, familiarity with email systems, spreadsheet applications and basic office equipment. 

-Ability to navigate intranet.
-Ability to drive to customer locations, community events, etc.
