LENDING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 

Mansfield branch of one of the largest independent banks in North Texas, needs an experienced Lending Administrative Assistant. 

 

This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Vice President and other bank lenders in providing customers with all their banking needs in a professional and courteous manner.

 

Must have a minimum of three years banking experience with computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Loan experience preferred.  Ability to prioritize, be well organized and work in a team oriented environment.

 

Excellent interpersonal communications and customer relation skills are necessary for dealing with all types of individuals.  Sales and marketing motivated.

 

Loan Preparation:

1.  Preparation of loan memo

2.  Pull credit reports

3.  Obtain all required supportive documents for loan closing

4.  Work with loan documentation processor, and loan funder to close loan in a timely manner

5.  Close new and renewed loans for officers in and outside the bank

 

Monitoring:

1.  Assist lenders in calling customers and collecting officer?s past due loans

2.  Clearing collateral exceptions on existing loans in officer?s portfolio

3.  Handling any customer problems or concerns with their loan

4.  Cross sell other Bank products to customers

5.  Marketing potential customers

6.  Closing Loans

 

Skills:

1.  Perform secretarial duties including correspondence, loan memos, bank forms, filing etc.

2.  Travel to other Financial Centers as necessary
