LOAN ANALYST CLOSER

TIB-The Independent BankersBank is located in Irving, Texas.  We are currently seeking a Loan Analyst Closer to work in our Mortgage department.  TIB offers great benefits and a 401(k) program.

 

Basic Function:

Evaluate data integrity and validity of information submitted on residential loan case files. Perform loan analysis, calculations and determine loan compliance.  Prepare, interpret and ensure audit compliance with guidelines and regulations regarding closing and post-closing requirements.

 

Major Duties / Responsibilities:

 

1.  Initiate and/or verify case files in internal Loan Origination Systems and Automated Underwriting Applications.  Update codes and other loan data, as required.

2.  Perform independent verification or re-verification and analysis of loan data, including credit, income, assets, appraisal, title, survey and compliance.

3.  Perform final loan evaluation and clear outstanding conditions prior to funding/purchase authorization.

4.  Request and coordinate rate locks on loans to ensure that program, product and other loan feature changes are consistent with LOS/AU terms and guidelines.

5.  Request and review closing loan documentation to ensure compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines. 

6.  Provide regular status updates to correspondents, vendors and borrowers, as applicable.

7.  Suspend case files that contain incomplete or inconsistent loan data.

8.  Generate posting sheets, wire instructions and funding advice ensuring that al transactions are balanced for each individual case file.

9.  Prepare loan servicing case files for each funded/purchased loan on funding date.

10.  Produce adverse action notices and perform systems updates to ensure that all regulatory requirements are complied with.

11.  Update loan origination systems to ensure that pipeline report reflects the most current status for active loan in process.

12.  Maintain current and relevant knowledge of all guidelines, processes and systems used within the area; including regulatory, statutory and investor related issues.

13.  Perform other duties assigned by management.

 

Requirements / Desired Qualifications:

 

?  Minimum three (3) years experience processing, underwriting and closing residential mortgages, preferably conventional and government loans.

?  Hands-on experience performing automated risk system data entry and output analysis, preferably most recent two (2) years. 

?  Thorough working knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac underwriting requirements.

?  Minimum three (3) years document drawing or loan closing experience.

?  Regular and punctual attendance is required

?  Individual should possess good interpersonal skills.

?  Individual should be able to work within a team environment.

?  Ability to communicate effectively
