A Senior Teller receives deposits for credit to customers? savings, checking or loan accounts; verifies cash sums and endorsements within established limits; secures required approval as necessary; balances daily. Sells travelers checks, sells and redeems savings bonds and accepts withholding tax payments, coupons, and food stamps. Senior Tellers are responsible for ensuring quality customer service by performing the functions of this position thoroughly and accurately. Candidates must have complete knowledge and understanding of teller operations, while demonstrating initiative, good judgment and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Senior Tellers have a thorough understanding of the ATM terminal and its balancing procedures; also, responsible for referring sales opportunities to the appropriate banking staff. Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of prior teller experience. Some supervisory experience preferred; High School diploma.

 

Hours:  25 hours per week
