As a Lead Analyst - Strategic Planning, you will help provide strategic insight to the Retail Banking President, CFO and other members of the Executive Team by taking an integrated approach to investigating key issues facing the business and its competitive landscape.  You will also work across all Retail Banking business lines and channels to ensure that the Executive Team has a comprehensive, neutral viewpoint on performance and recommend course-corrective actions where appropriate.  You will perform highly technical, complex and/or sensitive analyses involving multiple variables, and you will advise top management on data interpretation for operating or strategic plans, including development of appropriate new information/analyses and financial policy recommendations. You are responsible for project design, development, implementation, maintenance and completion. You are considered a subject matter expert/consultant to the management level with respect to the specific data of a large business segment or product line.


BA and MBA in Finance or related field required;
5+ years of progressively responsible work experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, business development, consulting, investment banking or other related analytically intensive fields


Strong problem structuring skills with a proficiency in hypothesis-based problem solving


Strong analytical and quantitative skills


Ability to succinctly synthesize findings; excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong working knowledge of practices and techniques relating to statistical modeling and reporting
Strong working knowledge of practices and methodologies relating to project management
Must possess PC skills with Microsoft products such as Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
Must have excellent written and oral communication, problem solving and analytical skills
