Reporting to the Leasing Sales Manager, the Leasing Sales Officer is responsible for creating and executing a marketing plan to achieve a specific target volume objective within one of Commerce Bank's Markets. Incumbent will be responsible for identifying, structuring and closing leasing transactions with Commerce Bank customers and prospects and will market the leasing product within Commerce Bank via bank lenders and other product partners of Commerce. The Leasing Sales Officer will also direct prospect leasing opportunities through direct prospecting / calling efforts.

 

Responsibilities Include:Incumbent will be responsible for working with a group of Commerce Lenders and present leasing solutions to bank clients which are acquiring for equipment. Incumbent will employ the various lease products (i.e. FMV Leases, Capital Leases, TRAC Leases Off Balance Sheet Leases, Municipal Leases, etc) to meet the leasing needs of the client. Incumbent will be required to use Lease Pricing Software to structure Tax Leases and utilize a Call Reporting System to track lease sales activities. Incumbent will be responsible for actively seeing a lease transaction through the various stages including proposals, credit approval, documentation, closing and postclosing. Incumbent will also be responsible for creating sales pipeline reports, sales forecast reports, etc. Incumbent will be accountable for a percentage of sales volume from direct prospecting efforts calling on prospects of Commerce Bank as well as working from a prospect lists of specific SIC codes.

 

Requirements:4 year college degree. Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in middle ticket leasing, preferrable with a bank. Ability to maintain relationships with lenders and customers of Commerce Bank.
