Job Description:

 

Responsibilities

 

*Legal structuring of complex and structured "cash"and/ or "waterfall" structured credit products with full capital structures, including but not limited to CDOs of ABS, CDOs of cash CDOs, managed and unmanaged CDOs, CLOs, structured credit-linked notes, repackaging of various types of assets and instruments, CDOs of hybrid cash and synthetic ABS and/ or CDOs, CLOs of hybrid cash and CDS of leveraged loans/ other loans. *Legal structuring of complex and structured synthetic CDOs, insurance transformers, negative basis trades, credit default swaps *Liaising with Head of Legal Structuring and Head of Capital Markets Legal New York, traders, structurers, rating agencies. *Assisting in the creating of special purpose vehicles, and preparing documentation in a commercial, timely and professional manner for the Structured Credit & CDO Team in New York..

 

Qualifications

 

*New York licensed (may consider other U.S. State licenses if necessary or desirable). *Approximately [4 to 6] years post qualification experience in law firm or financial services firm. *No less than [2]/ [3] years direct experience with documentation of "cash" CDOs / "waterfall" CDOs and/ or CLOs. *Experience with ISDA templates or "tailor-made" documentation on CDS on ABS, CDS on CDOs, CDS on Leveraged Loans preferred. *Good knowledge of synthetic CDOs (funded and unfunded), insurance transformers, negative basis trades, synthetic credit-linked notes and credit default swaps preferred.
