Job Description
Essential Functions
Individuals are experienced business development officers capable of independent activity. They have proven client relationship skills as well as extensive product knowledge, technical expertise and strong transaction execution skills and are often responsible for handling a variety of client meetings involving negotiations on pricing or structure of a financing. Will be the primary ABL representative in Indiana.
Call independently and with KeyBank Commercial Bankers on prospective asset based lending clients, deal referral sources and centers of influence in the Indiana market to increase KeyBank's business activity in that region. Generate quality lending opportunities, craft and deliver financing proposals and negotiate initial terms and conditions. Work with commercial banking relationship managers to cross-sell bank products. Coordinate with portfolio managers, field examiners and credit executives to get transactions funded.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of the asset based lending product and ability to market KeyBank in Indiana without strong brand identity and transaction history. Ability to screen prospective transactions and reject those not meeting established deal parameters. Ability to balance the marketing responsibility with sound credit acumen. Deep knowledge of the Indianapolis marketplace, including potential referral sources. At least 5 years experience in Asset Based Lending.
