Leveraged Finance Credit Officer/AVP-CLO Portfolio Management
Our client, a Major International Bank with offices in New York City, is seeking a Leveraged Finance Credit Officer for their CLO Portfolio Management Group. This individual will have 3 + years? relevant experience at a major financial institution. The ideal candidate will have analyzed leveraged loans and have excellent credit, analytical and cash flow modeling skills. The bank is offering up to 120K base + bonus.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
? Lead the management of the leveraged loan portfolio, continually tracking borrower performance and making critical buy/sell and hold decisions, as well as keeping departmental management apprised of important issues or changes as they arise.
? Analyze/review prospective investments, preparing credit applications for submission to the investment committee and monitor accounts on an on-going basis.
? Periodically review and comment on portfolio?s performance with the investment committee.
Job requirements:
? 3+ years? experience as a Leveraged Finance Credit Analyst/Portfolio Mgmt at a Major Financial Institution. Will also consider candidates with excellent credit skills analyzing Fortune 500 companies.
? Excellent Credit Analysis skills - Formal credit training a plus.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills, with excellent leadership abilities.
? Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred.
