Loan Boarding Specialist
COMPANY INFORMATION
Pacific Premier Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pacific Premier Bancorp, Inc.; a NASDAQ listed financial company. The Bank's role is to offer a broad range of services with primary emphasis on retail banking, real estate secured lending, and loan servicing. The Bank has branches currently in the cities of San Bernardino, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Costa Mesa and Cypress/Los Alamitos and a new edition coming soon to Newport Beach. Pacific Premier Bank's Lending Division concentrates on income property real estate and commercial lending. The processing of all loans is centralized in the corporate office Costa Mesa, CA.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for loan servicing, preparation of loan documents, and data input of loans. Experience in loan funding, commercial lending, and SBA is a must. Knowledge of Laser Pro software is a plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare loan documents in a timely manner.Conduct the necessary CIF-Search and Edit Procedures before inputting a loan.Data input of new and renewed loans.Perform quality control post funding audits.Follow-up on Final Title Policies.Coordinate with Title Company.Initiate the reconveyance process on paid out loans and follow through to completion.Conduct research necessary to address loan problems (data entry errors, payment exceptions/misapplications, etc.), resolve, and communicate outcome to appropriate parties.Research insurance renewal to ensure that all of the Bank?s qualifications are met.Process payments upon the absence of the payment processor.Adhere to all Bank policies including compliance with the ?Bank Secrecy Act? (BSA).
QUALIFICATIONSExperience in funding, commercial lending, SBA, and Laser Pro Software.Ability to multi task and have working knowledge of preliminary title reports and escrow instructions.Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.Good written and oral communication skills.Accurate typing and keyboarding skills as well as basic computer skills including word processing and spread sheet software applications.Ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.Minimum of 1+ 2 years experience in loan closing/funding or mortgage loan processing/loan servicing.
