Loan Coordinator

Required qualifications: 

 

Candidates for this position must possess a minimum of one year residential mortgage processing experience. A basic understanding of FNMA guidelines and experience with underwriting modules (DU, LP) is preferred but not required. In addition, some experience with Alternative-A loan programs, sub-prime lending, or wholesale lending would be a plus.

 

Strengths should include: A general understanding of loan processing.  Candidates should be detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to work well with others as part of a team.  In addition, candidates should be comfortable with a fast pace environment that requires multitasking and attention to detail in conjunction with effective customer follow up.  Further, candidates should demonstrate a team spirit and a willingness to focus on customer service.  

 

Computer skills:  Individuals should possess average computer literacy skills. Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and basic internet is preferred.
