Loan Officer/Account Executive
Summit Financial Resources is a nationally recognized provider of accounts receivable financing to small to medium-sized businesses in a broad range of industries. We are searching for an Account Executive to join our dynamic team. POSITION: Account Executive SUMMARY: The Account Executive will have direct responsibility over the administration of an assigned portfolio consisting of approximately 25 ? 30 factoring / ABL relationships, making daily discretionary advances against accounts receivable and inventory collateral. As the primary point of contact between Summit Financial Resources (SFR) and its clients, the Account Executive is expected to maintain a thorough understanding of each assigned account, including but not limited to (i) contractual terms, (ii) clients business / industry needs and tendencies, (iii) financial performance, (iv) collateral performance. The Account Executive is responsible for communicating both negative and positive trends to Senior Management, and is expected to take a leading roll in ongoing client negotiations as needed. REPORTING: Portfolio Team Leader (Primary), Portfolio Manager (Secondary) RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensure client compliance with all of SFR?s policies and procedures, relating to portfolio management, as amended and adjusted from time to time. 2. Maintain proper and accurate Client Risk ratings documented in the credit file and account management system. 3. Proactively track collateral and financial performance of the client, identifying trends that point to warning signs of collateral and or financial deterioration. Oversee maintenance of client trend cards. 4. Monitor and adjust collateral advance rates, insuring proper loan to collateral value coverage in accordance with underwritten and ongoing portfolio management guidelines. 5. Insure that all required field audits are performed in accordance with portfolio management guidelines, addressing all significant findings with a written action plan of correction. 6. Provide proactive management of the overall lending relationship with the client in a changing environment. 7. Manage loan loss exposure to departmental goal levels, working together with the Portfolio Team Leader, senior management, and outside counsel as needed. 8. Manage client attrition to departmental goal levels, working closely with the business development staff to insure that no deal is lost due to service and or structural needs that is within our control. 9. Work closely with the underwriting and business development staff to insure a smooth transition on all newly assigned accounts. 10. Work with management in underwriting new transactions on an as needed basis. 11. Work closely with customer credit department personnel, insuring the existence of a cohesive team environment leading to proactive client and collateral management. 12. Provide daily guidance to assigned Collateral Analysts. Must have experience in either Factoring or ABL Lending.
