Description of Position:

Oversees the daily operations of commercial, consumer and mortgage functions related to HMDA/CRA, Fed Call Code reporting, client credit bureau dispute resolution and real estate disclosures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to published service levels. Also responsible for overseeing loan documentation review and verification functions. Monitors and coaches staff to ensure quality service and adherence to corporate policies, and legal/compliance requirements. Develops and fosters effective relationships with markets served. Acts as a resource for corporate or department initiatives and/or process improvements. Acts as back up to other supervisor(s) and/or manager. 

 

 

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in loan operations or a related field.  2 years of supervisory experience is desired to be able to train and coach staff to meet service levels in a metrics environment. Must be able to understand processes, procedures and credit policies in detail in order to be able to ensure that production issues are resolved effectively, handle complex issues and problems. The ability to read documents and to perform basic mathematics at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school degree in order to review documents to research and resolve issues, prepare various reports, document procedures and ensure data is accurate and reconciled appropriately.  A Bachelors degree is preferred.  Strong communication skills in order to deal with staff issues and problems; communicate clearly when coaching or training and to work with various internal and external customers when resolving problems.  Strong analytical skills to be able to determine the criticality of issues for escalation and to analyze problems and determine appropriate remedial actions such as modifications to procedures and processes. Basic computer skills in order to be able to access various banking systems when researching information, knowledge of specific CB banking systems is preferred. HMDA/CRA background is a plus.
