JOB FUNCTION:
Oversees the work of their respective employees to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all loan servicing related functions in compliance with Bank policy, state laws and federal regulations; ensures continuous employee development and departmental progression.

This job description may be used for any department in Loan Services and may supervise the following types of work:
? Ensuring loans are structurally sound and documented before closing
? Reviewing all documents after closing and handling any exceptions
? Setting loans up on the appropriate system
? Compliance and collateral issues once the loan is booked in the loan system
? Imaging and maintenance of loan documentation

REGULAR DUTIES:
? Establish and maintain budget within an acceptable variance.

? Ensure quality service to internal and external customers to include timely and accurate completion of requests and performance of appropriate research and/or problem solving.

? Provide training, coaching, counseling, scheduling and performance appraisals to staff.? Maintain key performance standards and meet with employees regularly to discuss performance.

? Participate and/or lead special projects and/or lead mergers within and outside the Loan Services area as needed.

? Maintain the integrity of the bank?s loan, lease, documentation and/or imaging systems.

? Ensure adherence to bank policy, procedures and compliance.

? Test all system enhancements/releases prior to implementation.

? Maintain current written procedures and disaster recovery plan.

? Continuously improve efficiencies through automation and process improvements.

? Other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Skills:
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
? College degree, paralegal certificate, notarial commission or equivalent work experience
? 2-3 years experience as a senior level Loan Administrator or Processor, or equivalent experience handling commercial or consumer loan documentation or operations
? Supervisory experience

PREFERRED SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
? General familiarity with PC and mainframe systems and loan documentation applications.
? Knowledge of salary administration, coaching and counseling, interviewing skills, writing performance reviews and training techniques.
? Possess an understanding of the principles governing loan documentation and the perfection of security interests, and/or an understanding of the commercial or consumer loan operations functions.
