Loan Servicing Analyst (Banking)

COCC, the leading outsourcing and software development company for community financial institutions throughout the Northeast, is currently recruiting for a Loan Servicing Analyst. This position requires a self-motivated starter who can work independently, as well as with a team. The applicant should be conversant in all aspects of loan servicing and industry regulations, including Secondary Marketing Reporting and Tax and Escrow Processing.

The successful applicant must be able to meet critical deadlines. Participation in most facets of standard project life cycle activities such as business requirement decomposition, analysis, review, testing and documentation is essential. Duties may include data and source system assessment, analysis and systems design for development efforts, as well as daily issue analysis, resolution and documentation.

Position Qualifications:Five years of operations or technical experience in banking or related position in the financial industry. Five years analytical work in banking or related position in the financial industry. Ability to interpret business requirements and decompose those requirements into a detailed functional specification. Ability to translate technical information into user oriented language. Excellent verbal and written communications skill. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of information sources and techniques to effectively resolve issues. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel; Access is a plus) Training and experience in the application of project life cycle methodologies is highly desired. Familiarity with Oracle and Client Server databases, and SQL query capability are definite pluses. Bachelors Degree from an accredited College or University, or equivalent.
