LOAN SERVICING REPRESENTATIVE

GRADE  21: NON-EXEMPT 

FULL TIME SALARIED

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Setup, process and monitor Participation loans. Produce SBA monthly loan report. Reconcile Credit Life Insurance monthly statements$. Update Loan Loss Reserve ledger. Assist with balancing a variety of loan accounts. Assist with processing partial charged off loans and Visa. Assist and support branch and department loan officers and loan processors. Provide assistance to ensure that Department operational functions are completed efficiently, accurately, and timely. Expand and retain customer relationships by promoting and providing exceptional customer service and upholding Company customer service values.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:Setup, process and monitor Participation loans.Produce SBA monthly loan report.Review, reconcile and balance Credit Life Insurance monthly statements for all Company loans and process premium payments.Update Loan Loss Reserve ledger.Assist with reconciliation and balancing a variety of loan accounts and reports including Loans in Process, Unposted report, Participation report, Exception report and FASB.Assist with processing partial charged off loans and Visa charge offs.
Perform loan maintenance; edit changes and updates for loans.Provide technical support and act as a liaison for branch and department personnel for customer inquiries and loan research requests.Provide support and assistance, and other related duties as assigned, in support of the daily functions and special projects of the Department. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:Three years banking experience with experience as a note clerk or loan processor preferred.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of loan products, policies and procedures.Ability to recognize inconsistencies and incorrect information pertaining to loan input and maintenance.Basic mathematical aptitude and understanding of common bookkeeping concepts.Demonstrated analytical, decision-making and effective problem resolution skills.Must be proficient in the use of personal computer systems, internet applications and electronic mail, and various windows based software applications to include, but not limited to, banking application and loan documentation software, word processing and spread sheet software.
